Moo Do Academy Tae Kwon Do 'Break-a-thon 2010' is THIS Saturday July 17th, at the Saturday Market!! (South end at Corner of Oak St. and Park St.) This event is a rare treat for those who love to see and feel the power of the martial arts. The Break-a-thon begins at 10am and will end around 2pm and will feature 20 of our color belt students and Black Belts performing 'KYOKPA! ' - also known as breaking techniques to raise money for the Core Star Center facility in Eugene.

The Core Star is the home of the Moo Do Academy and many other martial art and yoga and dance groups. The facility has been completely renovated and we are raising money and awareness about this recreational community center. A portion of the proceeds will go into a special account to assist with local feral cat control operations in the Whiteaker area. We are only performing the Break-a-thon twice this year, so come down and watch the spectacle this Saturday!!

For those who would like to donate and be an integral part of this fundraiser, donation of ANY amount can be sent or brought to Core Star Center, 439 W. 2nd Ave, Eugene OR 97401. Donations of $100 or more are TAX DEDUCTIBLE !!!!!! Please specify that you would like a tax deductible receipt when making donation.
